Soft, Sweet Melody

Poetry By: Lady Wolf

There are very rare times when I'm happier than when I'm playing my piano. It has inspired me to create some of my favorite works and I decided it was time to say thank you. NOTE: Best read while listening to Moonlight Sonata.

My friend of black and white,

No introduction do you need.

My instrument of joy,

Dripping with sweet melody.

You speak to me so clearly,

In a language that few understand.

You are my sweetest lover,

Embrace me with your sound again.

I give you my heart,

Whenever I settle down to play.

You feel what I feel,

But in words I never truly say.

A symphony of emotion,

Whether it be dark or light.

A melody of feeling,

The soothing hand after a fight.

Your sound wraps around me,

As my fingers start to glide.

You hear the cry of my heart,

Of the screaming locked inside.

Dance with me again,

My dearest friend,

Escape with me again,

Heal the wounds only you can mend.

Touch my soul,

Until time finds no more reason to tic.

Sing for me again,

My blessed angel of music.
