Why did you leave me all alone?
Am I not the one?
Why did you say, "I'll be back."?
When you really meant, "I'll be gone."
Why won't you hold me?
As I sit here and cry.
Why didn't you say anything?
Not even a good-bye?
Why won't you hold me close?
When I'm feeling so cold.
Why did you promise to love me?
Till the day we grew old?
You promised all these things,
Swore they would come true.
But the biggest lie you ever told,
was when you said, "I love you."
