I love you as much
as any woman can, so
why do you insist on
breaking my heart?
Life is not life if
you aren't here to
keep the vampires of
doubt away.

I need you, but you
aren't there. I call
your name and all
I hear is silence. Are
you still there? Do
you still love me?
Am I meant to live
in eternal confusion,
or will I reach clarity
someday?
