Heartbreak.

Written for an ex-boyfriend. I wanted to see how it felt to be in that position ... not nice.

Once more she says

goodbye to love, once

again the tears fall

in raindrop form to the

floor. Within each tear

lies a tiny shard of her

soul, coupled with the

love that ended in his

heartbreak. She was a

fool to let him slip away

like the morning mist -

things won't ever be right

again. There they lie - all

the shards of her heart.

A dark mass of blue-black

silk is all that is left of

her will to live. Her pain

is nothing compared with

her former lover's unending

heartbreak.
