Let Me Bear Your Pain.

Poetry By: ladygothicka

Please, Josh. I don't want you to die, but I can't let you suffer. Let me help you, I'm begging you to let me bear it for you. I couldn't bear it if you died.

I love you always, little-big brother.

I don't know why you're
hurting, I don't know why
you're feeling this pain, but
that doesn't matter.

I want to bear the pain
for you, to give you some
relief from the agony that
characterises your life.

Please, brother, let me be
the one to suffer. I'm old
enough to cope, you're still
not ready to bear it.

I don't mean to patronise
you, but I'm older and I would
willing bear your pain for you
if only you would let me.

Please, Josh, for once,
let me bear your pain.
I love you too much
to let you die.
