A more cheerful poem than is usual for me. Enjoy!

The world is quiet here,

breezes blowing softly through

the trees inside my mind.

Tears become raindrops that

soak my mind's floor, giving

life to formerly dead flowers.

The world is silent here,

crows sitting in their nests

and watching their youg,

The sunshine of my eyes gives

hope to those in need, showing

them that anything is possible.

The world is noisy here,

laughter booming in my ears

and tumbling from my mouth.

Songs of joy fill the world

and flood this Earth with

hope for a brighter future.
