We split with pain
and sorrow, lost in
the anger caused by
my needs and your hate.
I wish I could turn the
clock back and do it
all differently, but we
both know I can't.
All I can do is tell you
that you're still with me,
locked in a safe corner
of my heart. You never
died in me, and a part of
me will always love you.
In another world, I'd be
your wife. Not this world.
I'm sorry.
