There we are, our
bodies separate but
our hearts entwined.
We have a love that
can never falter, a
truth that will never
die. You are the beat
of my heart, the breath
in my chest ... every day
you keep my feet on
terra firma. I don't
need dreams to stay
alive if I have you,
because you are my
dream. We may have
separate bodies, but
our hearts and souls
are joined in a bond
that can never be undone.
