Inspired by Show of Hands once more. This song is "Union Street (Last Post)" and features the Last Post on the bugle. Amazing song. Enjoy the poem.

She met him on a
ship bound for Spain.
He was a prisoner, she
was the wife of the
captain. The last
thing they expected
was to fall in love.

When they reached the
Spanish coast, she fled
with her prisoner, both
of them running from pain
to freedom. All that was
left was a note saying
"We were two shipwrecked
lovers, but now we are
free to love as we choose."

Two shipwrecked lovers ...
one undying love.
