Beauty of the Nile.
Protecting thee,
Life of the mile,
Come rest with He.
If only life was a prize and never carried a price,
I think I would manage to breathe a little while longer,
Instead of paying all off with a compromise,
I would in these tears find reason to smile and these seasons would prove a whole lot fonder.
But let thee consider life, never mind the price,
A gift from above – The Almighty,
Then to day I would literally walk with Christ,
But because I’ve never really travelled along for this journey,
I keep praying that what the half of me knows,
Could beat and steal,
Mislead and kill,
Leads the better yet wicked thee back to that which is known today as life’s Free Truth.
