Are you going to the fair?

CAROUSEL

There is a paint drop in my eye

There is a lizard on my tongue,

It makes me want to cry

I feel smart and really dumb.

I am walking backwards there

Going to the county fair,

My world went up in smoke

Do you think this is a joke?

I fell and broke my leg

Now I have to wear a peg,

The dragon calls to me

I want to set it free.

I am feeling for my way

It is a most unusual day,

I think I’m almost there

Are you going to the fair?

I want to ride the dragon

It is better than a wagon,

It is on a spinning wheel

That makes it hard to feel.

As I touch it on its eye

A spark lights up inside,

It is going to break free

Can I take it home with me?

I am holding on real tight

As it soars into the night,

We drift lightly in the air

Did you like the county fair?
