The Road
The road is long and traveled
By spirits far and wide,
Sometimes you come unraveled
By what you keep inside.
The road your life has taken
Is not always what you need,
Sometimes you must be shaken
To take away the greed.
The road will pick up strangers
Carry family members too,
Watch out for all its dangers
You know what you must do.
Your road will end someday
It can’t go on forever,
Then what will people say
About your life’s endeavor.
