I quit

If renouncing is in favour of trash,

I shall be!

Enough is enough!

I yearn for my freedom and thou shall not beseech my return.

Justifications I've made in your favour,

Shall not be heard this time.

For this time, I'm to return under no circumstances.

Everything in my life reminds me of you

And for this motive

I long to return

But I know, it's paramount to dwell in your absence.

This time, I'm leaving you for good.

I demand liberty,

I don't require pleasure from you anymore,

To tranquillise my senses, sooth my heart and compose my anger.

I crave for your soothing touch.

I shall imprison myself until I am able to manage without you.

This time I possess strength and purpose.

I've moved out forever.

I threw away your pictures

I shattered your favourite serving dish

I thought I needed you, all those thoughts and memories I will erase

For now I realise that you were my Achilles' heel

You took advantage of me and blinded me from truth.

Our relationship will only lead to my demise.

Though you were loyal and trustworthy

I'm by no means coming back.

You flamed with fiery passion each time we kissed

I loathe you for stealing my heart

How I disliked the scent of your fragrance

But mostly I detest you for decrementing my breaths.

I despise you for causing a rift between my loved ones and me

I'm stronger than you now

Do you hear me?

I said; I quit

I'm never ever smoking ever again.

This is it; I quit, you disgusting habit.
