Cast unto the world, Angels tried
Their shadows made of light
Shade out the weary night
Providing a unknown insight
Religion does not know about this
Angels form children from bliss
Angelic child of a human kiss
No pure blood
A pure heart however isn’t amiss
Cast unto the world, these beings shied
The newfound species was allied
Human protectors were now supplied
Fighting the dark, these creatures decide
Our protectors and our heroes
Save us with sword and arrows
They could have been pharaohs
A secret unknown history shows
Cast unto the world, these beings survived
Never fitting in they were forever denied
Nonetheless they fight on our side
However the dark did not abide
From the shadows, shadows they hate
Part human and angel can create
The good the world needs to rate
Apparently not in the mind of fate
Cast unto the world many of them died
Often both worlds will and did collide
None can run from darkness nor hide
So they chase it and make it subside
Cast unto the world the angels cried
For their children numbers slide
The weak die and the strong stride
Stride with their knowledge and pride
