Sadness reigns today,
don't know why
the feelings
are blue and gray.
I'm like a shadow
who's body
has lost it's way.
I'm not anywhere to
be found.
My eyes are half way open.
I don't make a sound.
My muscles tired and weak.
It's just a bleak day
of not knowing
why sadness reigns today.
