You used to be mine,

not hers.

The way,

your emerald green eyes used to look into my mocha colored.

But now,

I feel empty as you look into her sapphire blue eyes.

The way,

your smile used to brighten my day.

But now,

it's gloomy while you shine on hers.

The way,

your warm and soft lips would melt on mine,

But now,

I'm desperate while they're being eaten by the greedy monster.

The way,

your broad shoulders always held me up when I leaned to you for support.

But now,

I fall as I see her head where mine fit perfectly.

The way,

your gentle hands were securley wrapped around my waist when I was frightened.

But now,

I'm scared while you protect your new love of your life.

The way,

your thin fingers used to twirl around mine,

liked you'd never let me go.

But now,

I'm gone while you tangle hands with her.

When the time comes,

she'll find a new guy.

And like many times before,

you'll come back to me.

But for the first time ever,

I won't.
