Once the thing you held with most regard

Lies in tatters

You once had it all and needed nothing more

Now nothing matters

Everything you worshipped once

Lies in a heap

Washed and smashed to 'kingdom come'

Looks so cheap

The place you went to for solace and rest

Is no more

What lies there now are just remnants

Aftermath of war

I'm a Sendai Warrior

It's irrelevant whether a girl or a place

You feel so despondant you're hiding your face

It's like all traces are lost of what was before

We fell in love there once

But no more... Sendai Warrior

Everything you once cherished is gone

Smashed by a wave

You visit the ones that you loved there

Knelt by a grave

Your heart once so full and bursting with pride

An empty shell

Where once stood a marker for your life

Looks like hell

It's familiar sounds and unique places

Went before dawn

The Sun no longer rises to light up the faces

You ponder the life you once had

And you mourn

I'm a Sendai Warrior

It's irrelevant whether a girl or a place

You feel so despondant you're hiding your face

It's like all traces are lost

Of what was before

We fell in love there once

But no more... Sendai Warrior

Spare a thought for this soldier of life

Who carries no gun, no shield, no knife

But battles on bravely to live like before

And deeply he carries the scars of his war

I'm a Sendai Warrior

A Sendai Warrior

Sendai Warrior

Sendai

Warrior...
