Droplets of rain on the viewpoint glass
Wash all the flowers and darken the grass
Trickles of rain on the uPVC door
Leave small lakes on the kitchen floor
Bubbles of water sit on the grey slabs
And falls from leaking gutters in dribs and drabs
Splashes from puddles exploded by tyres
Fan out like waves extinguishing fires
Sprinklings of rainwater ruin the washing
Invade the festival but not the 'moshing'
Rivers run zig zag down the hillside
Fuelled by the rain a mud filled landslide
Droplets of rain on the viewpoint glass
Sparkle like diamonds on tips of grass
