Self pity

Help me I'm drowning

There's no use just sitting there frowning

I'm suffocating

Waiting while you're contemplating

My stomaches in knots

And not helped by me downing shots

My head is spinning

It's all an act when you see me grinning

I'm feeling hollow

It's easy for you to say that I wallow

My head is banging

On the end of your thread I'm hanging

There's not a glimmer

The gas has gone out and we no longer simmer

I'm gasping for air

You just bath and straighten your hair

Well fuck it you win

There's no end and nowhere to begin

Drown my sorrow

Fuck the bills and fuck work tomorrow

Before I down more wine

Have you thought about throwing me a lifeline?
