You Wanted Carte D'or, You Got Vienetta

Realising that what you are is not what your partner wants...

Since the very first day I met her

Never wanted to forget her

Had no desire to leave, no urge to get better...

Never needed improvements or a much bigger place

No need to change my body, my looks, my face...

Since the last time I saw her

Could'nt do anything for her

In desperate need of advice and a Lawyer...

Never wanted to travel or go very far

No urge to have a newer or much faster car...

Baby, all I wanted was you

Baby all I think of is you

Baby please, can we talk it through?

'Cos I don't want anything new

I have no desire to forget her

You wanted Carte D'or, you got Vienetta.

Since the first tiny kiss

Needed no more than this

Had no urge for add-ons, a different Miss...

Never wanted to last longer or be a success

Just wanted my girl in her favourite dress...

Since the last time we kissed

You sounded real pissed

Made it quite clear that I would not be missed...

I had no need to improve or better myself

No desire to succeed or improve my wealth...

Baby all you wanted was me

And baby all you talked of was me

Now you talk of us two

As over and through

I have no need to forget her

You wanted Carte D'or, you got Vienetta.
