My Sun

I flew towards the sun
until my wings got burned.
I flew around the earth
I wish at that time
someone would have pulled me
to the ground...
before I crashed and burned,
lost everything I loved.
I sank into the ocean
My soul and heart a wreck
still wishing, still wishing
I could go back.
But the waves welcomed me with
their open arms
before they pulled me down
into their depths.
Down there I have no thoughts
No pain, I cannot be upset
In that water, deep, deep under
I fell asleep.
The clouds cried for me
my failure so inept
The sun stretched its arms
around my meager body
Pulled me out
of deaths iron grip.
Held me high and steady
I should´ve known that second
I would burn again
when my weak heart started beating
to the flaming sun
I returned...
