Watching someone leave, and watching as they came back to laugh at you.

A clothing after another,

Suitcase after suitcase,

And tears after tears.

Promises once made were broken,

When you left with a bang,

That shattered my heart.

Piece by piece I glued themtogether,

Whole again,

Yet not quite.

Barging into my life once more,

You took piece after piece,

Apart from the once whole.

Scars and cuts are now visible,

On my paper heart.

Pouring salt on my new cuts,

You pick at the old scabs.

With a smile that hides my pain,

I watch as you disappear once more.

Day after day,

My heart turns into rock.

And when you barge in once more,

You left with nothing you want.

My anger and pain follows,

Hunts you down and fills your mind.

With guilt building up inside,

You can't take it no longer.

Push it all to me now,

To ease your mind.

You always had to the good guy,

Because you don't want the blame.

Stop coming back,

I've erased you from my life,

My heart,

My thoughts.

You're no longer my mom,

but just the simple word.

Mother.

So keep your guilt,

Keep your blames,

I no longer want them.

Ease my mind,

Calm my heart,

And stay away from,

My once paper heart.
