The behaviors that I hate the most ...

I don’t respond well to yelling.
It reminds me of childhood and sickness.
I don’t respond well to surprises.
They remind me of anxiety and fear.
I don’t respond well to criticism.
I am hard enough on myself – you need not comment.
I don’t respond well to conditions and contracts.
They remind me of feelings of being limited and stuck.
They represent a loss of freedom and of choice.
I don’t respond well to arrogance.
It is insecurity’s blanket and it is a poor shelter to hide behind.
I don’t respond well to those who bully and swear.
They use primitive language as a mask for their fears.
I don’t respond well to most authority figures.
They are posers and were once bullied children.
They now do the same because that is all that they know.
I don’t respond well to those who are apathetic.
They just wait and watch.
They are immobilized by their fears and afraid to reach beyond their routines.
Don’t do that to me – or to yourself for that matter.
