My heart skips a beat when you’re near,
When bad stuff happens, you’re the first I wish here.
If you were to leave, I’d gladly die,
Run in to the sea, live in permanent night.
But with no moon and no stars,
With no you, there are no laughs,
Or calm, or smiles or happiness,
Only tears that show my distress.
I love you more than you’ll ever know.
Why God, why does he have to go?
Give him back, I’ll ask nothing more,
Can’t you see I’m beginning to fall.
I’m braking apart, I can’t be broken again.
It hurts too much, just make it all end.
One swift blow to my hollow chest,
Where my once beating heart now lies in rest.
