The tears that run down my cheeks are not their normal form,
They've turned to blood and pain. Like me they have reformed.
A cold shiver holds me captive though the weather plays no part,
You managed to steal, darken, drown my empty heart.
I suffer in the silence, as usual I choose to stay,
Hidden in the darkest night, burning in the golden day.
My poisoned mind will only see your imagined fairytale,
Your bittersweet voice traps me inside my own evil jail.
Your simple scent, like fresh, fallen snow on a butterfly's wings,
Delicate, yet simple, gorgeous and addicting.
You're like a forest fire, you spread into my heart,
You're like a lightning bolt, you're ripping me apart.
The space between us, more than worlds away,
Your blinding aura, brighter than any suns golden ray.
I don't know whether to fear you and run far and fast,
Or love you because of the fear, knowing both will last.
I can't trust my own thoughts,
Which are mine and which are yours?
I'm your little puppet, held close to you, tied by your strings,
I'm your Fallen Angel, you stole my soul and my wings.
