If lightning strikes and causes fire,
I stand and watch, to burn is a desire.
With a you, there is no me,
But who cares, really?
The moon has risen, my decision still unmade,
I look at my scars still refusing to fade.
A healing heart will take some time,
But a healing heart is not mine.
I look down the barrel of a full gun,
The bullet inside burns hotter than the sun.
A knife to the throat, cold kiss of pain,
I'm fed up of playing life's game.
Maybe I'll find the will one day,
But until then, this pain will stay.
Once again, I'm dying inside,
Maybe I should just give up on life.
