I Am Death!

Poetry By: LizLew

Yet another one that I found. This time the date said I was about 6 or 7, so I apologize for the poor quality. I'm uploading it to distract you from the fact I have writters block. :3

My heart so still and cold in my chest,
I look around at the rest.
All so happy and able to feel,
My cold gaze, their souls I try and steal.
Their giant grins and irritable laugh,
Their happy giggles and beating hearts.
I roll my eyes and glare at them all,
I'm pray against hope that you slip and fall.
Down a cliff would be fine,
Yes, I have in fact lost my mind.
So have you figured it out yet?
My darkness is never set.
I'm what the Devil fears, and I'm Gods enemy,
I don't care, they are just some of many who hate me.
I have no pride, no feelings, no care,
You're like the others, you just sit and stare.
I'm starting to question,
Should I use the lethal injection?
What's keeping me here, why am I alive,
Is simply to win an unbeatable fight?
Either way, I stop and look around,
At the once happy faces, now forever in the ground.
The dust starts to settle, the war is over,
But I'm unlucky as a three leaved clover.
I Am Death, the shadow that you hide,
I will win each and every fight.
Even if I used the lethal injection,
I wouldn't work thanks to the powers in question.
I cannot die, even if I want to,
I Am Death, and soon, I will be after you.
