Not too brilliant, but I'm bored.

Screams of pain,
And cries of lies.
And yet we sleep,
With a sweet melody.
No food in a stomach and blood on their hands,
Their souls are forever eternally damned.
But we don't care because we have it all,
No pain of losing a friend, watching his body fall.
Imagine seeing a bullet enter someone's body,
Imagine hearing a scream, or worse, nothing.
Just seeing them close their eyes and their faces pale,
Their breath slowing, dulling each detail.
But you don't have time to mourn a loss,
You need to keep moving or you will be shot.
Bullets flooding the ground around,
Noise and yells fill the sound.
While we sit and enjoy or complain about life,
We are not at war, and we will never have to decide.
Most take a life and go insane,
Feeling their souls fade away.
Imagine if you needed to choose between sanity and death,
Would you start hearing voices in your head.
So next time you think your life totally sucks,
Just because you didn't get what you want,
Just remember those at war,
Killing and screaming and so much more.
But you will continue with your life,
Just Another Day In Paradise.
