Life, what’s so great about you?
You take away my family, my best friends too.
Don’t you realize how alone I am?
Don’t you know my love is damned?
If I care about someone, you take them away.
Is there no one who’s aloud to stay?
My best friends leaving with me behind,
My family stolen in the night.
Am I really ment to be alone,
God forbid I should be known,
Accepted, loved, cared for too.
Will I never find My Perfect You?
I turn to both my dark and light side,
And what they both say is too damned right.
‘From what we’ve seen you’ve done wrong not,
Maybe this is just life’s plot.’
So my loneliness will never fade,
So black becomes a darker shade.
I guess it’s time I face the truth,
I’ll never find My Perfect You.
Bring on the rain and thunderstorms,
I’m turning cold what was once warm.
Holding everyone away from me,
Drowning in my lonely sea.
I’ll never know what I thought I’d knew,
I’ll never find My Perfect You.
