I see you Stranded In The Rain,
You're face is full of hurt and pain.
My heart hurts to see you cry,
The burning fire doused from your eyes.
The lighting decides to do a dance,
The thunder lays down a beat of claps.
I want to hug you, but I'm afraid,
Should I really play that game?
My heart is pounding hard and fast,
I reminisce in our past.
It's always been you, it always will be,
I want 'you' to be 'us' and 'me' to be 'we'.
Don't you understand or don't you care?
I ask these words, but you just stand there.
My mind is reeling, the tears they fall,
You don't hear or see at all.
You stand in the rain, looking up to the sky,
You shine bright in the darkened night.
