There Was A Day, There Is A Night.

Is it really better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all? Think about it.

The love we share, pure in every way,
There is no night, my night is day.
Skipping through the golden field,
Having no clue about what destiny has sealed.
She laughs at our hopes and dreams,
Knowing nothing is as it seems.
Our plans destroyed, our love in defeat,
I won't forget you, but will you forget me?
I wonder how things will play,
My memory swirls in my mind all day.
I remember how we used to be,
Laughing at our stupidity.
I was lucky to have you once upon a time,
But now you're gone, there's just no shine.
The moon that used to be a mystical haze,
Now is nothing in my gaze.
The love in which I used to believe,
Though love was ripped apart by destiny.
My soul mate gone, ripped away from life,
For until we meet again, my day is my night.
