Here we are once again, remember the start?
Some things never change, some things just can’t.
When I said I love you, I meant it.
When I said always, I meant it.
I still love you, even if I do fight it.
Can’t you understand?

What you have seen is a darker side of me,
But you must believe, that isn’t the real me.
You’ve seen who I truly am,
Am I truly that bad?
Why can’t you understand?

I’ve made mistakes, and I’ll make more,
I’m human, for better or worse, healthy or sore.
If I choose to be someone different, I would,
But I can’t, even if I should.
Do you understand yet?
