Doubled over, screaming loud,
No one ever hears a sound.
To their faces I smile,
Behind their backs, my tears are wild.
Screams in the silence, no one hears,
Cry in the sea, mixing with my tears.
The petty problems being noticed,
Like who has and hasn’t been kissed.
I act like I care, when I don’t,
I’d rather be on my own.
My friends used to worry, but I’m better at lying,
They don’t hear or see my crying.
People give up on opening me,
That’s the way I’m ment to be.
I have my own personal war,
I won’t burden you anymore.
I bend over, under attack,
My soul twisting turning black.
I’m starting to slip, surrender to the pain,
Will it stop? Will It fade?
