"Bad Romance"

Poetry By: Lizo

This poem is my entry for Ant's "Aspire to Inspire" summer writing challenge.

Based from the song "Bad Romance" by Lady Gaga ♥

Punctuation is key in this poem, so be sure to read each stanza according to the commas, semi-colons, periods, etc.

Baby, I want your love.

Let's tango this obsessive dance.

Come, help me write

Our sick, bad romance.

I want your ugly,

Your greedy lust and desire.

Beauty, fame and favor

Just add fuel to my fire.

I want your disease,

Another hit of your love.

Your addictive attention,

That poisonous drug.

I want your design;

Your erotic admiration.

I'll worship you for

Your exotic infatuation.

I want your horror:

Each perverse severity.

Your morbid, sadistic fervor,

Baby, give it all to me.

I want that pain

In your ferocious touch.

I'll never be the same,

Always taking too much.

More! I'll scream.

Please satisfy my aggression.

Leave me gasping and heaving;

Make me your possession.

You know that I want you,

Just give me the chance;

I want it bad,

Your bad romance.
