Portrait of the Small Roman Ruler

Poetry By: Lobster Claw

This is a poem I wrote that describes my passion towards a particular art, done by a very common individual.

Shapes red with special blends

Lines of yellow, orange and white

Golden browns frame the lively painting

Fresh greens, natural blacks, fungal browns in each stroke

The deeper reds, passing and weaving through the lines

It glows, it resonates as I get closer to its touch

It is soft and speaks to me

The oils fill my nose

Silently coaxing

Me alone.
