Poetry By: lost love long forgotten
Poetry

Just a poem about how one girl leaves behind the only life she's ever known.

A lonely girl sits in the dark
preparing to do the hardest
thing anyone in love can do.

She's preparing to leave someone
she loved she's only doing it because she
can't fight the silent battles of fear, jealousy,
anger, and hurt.

She's tired of fighting all these emotions
when she see's him with another girl.
She can't cry anymore so she just sits
there waiting to tell him. She loves him.

Thinking, of how she'll never wake
to see his face or hear his whispers while falling
asleep.

Once the moon shines in through a window
she grabs her stuff it's time to go, to leave
behind the only person she'll ever want, need and
wish to have.

She leaves behind no footprints,
no traces of herself
to be followed she's only left
tiny tears that have since long ago
dried up.
