Fake smiles

Aching breaths

Bored teachers

Insane delinquents

Playing pretend

Waiting for it all to end

Silent secrets

Loud drama

Deadly lies

Snickering of girls

Laughter of guys

Playing deaf

Disconnected

Uprooted

Misunderstood

Nose in a book

Mind in the cloud

Soul in the music

Pen on the paper

Commands lines in a neat row

As the world sinks low

The words in my head

In my soul

Scream

But the desire of my heart

And right in my mind

Combat

The rush of my heart

The voice in my head

Up in a panic

The world gets rougher

More chaotic it grows

My eyes to the sky

My heart to the heavens

My mind wide open

With no answers
