When the course of true love runs cold, what is best for everyone?

Within the walls of humble home, I lost my love to emotional stone

Where kisses are a prelude to a wave goodbye, as avoidance is all on offer, don't know why.

How I wish this was the person I once knew, who left little notes and romance was true.

How we'd wine and dine by candlelight, make an effort to have a memorable night.

How I'd feel I was loved and be walking on air.

Make love in front of the blazing log fire, in each others arm we'd sleep bare.

Within these walls of humble home, I lost my love to emotional stone

For now I sit and stare at the walls

Reminiscing about times we'd share united souls.

We lived and breathed such love for one another, now we hardly ever look at each other.

Like two strangers is how we communicate, can't stay in the same room

Beds are separate.

Friends don't come knocking anymore, not like they used to once before

The strain in this relationship is there for all to see

We go nowhere together as embarrassed we'd be.

It's time to do the right thing and call it a day.

I've decided it is best to leave, there's nothing here for me!
