In memories so blue(mama)

In memories of you, dear mama

These words come from my heart, though they are blue.

How mama I still miss you till this day

The pain hasn’t left me, since you went away.

My love of you still flows

In veins constricting when I’m alone

Sorrow in my grasp, when I can see no one I can talk to.

No one to share my joy, better my pain

I felt a cruel blow, to lose you, I was only ten years old.

Yet to this day you are the driving force,

Effectively I think of you, and feel consoled

Your spirit is with me where ere I go.

In memories of blue, I sing the lost one’s song

That’s what I do

Still now that I am older, and much stronger

Since you departed this earth.

Heaven knows dear mama, that I love you and ever will.

There are quiet times, I think of you and oh I cry

So much that the tears they burn my eyes

In memory of you, I write these words to tell the world the truth.

Your spiritually here, with me all the time.

That is the comfort I will keep with me until we share that heavenly paradise.

Dear mama peaceful be,

For the Father takes care of you and also me

There will come a day when we’ll hold hands again.

That day will surely see

The blue and the sadness of losing you was temporary.

Together we shall be, I with you and you mama with me.
