Letter of sweet nothings
Did he write you a letter, did you read it all day?
Did he say that he loved you, sorry he’s far away
Did he say he’ll be home soon, he’s missing you so
Did he sign it “dear darling“, there’s only you and no more.
Did he mention your sweet kiss, your feather light lips
How he’s longing to hold you, share a moments tenderness
Did he say he smelt your perfume, on the letter you sent.
How he can’t wait to love you, share his all with you again
Did you know he isn’t far away, just round the corner with
Someone else.
He sends you letters of sweet nothings, and then he laughs
To himself.
He say’s he’s working so hard today, but you’re on his mind.
He say’s he knows that you miss him, he can’t be there all the time.
His letter tells you he cries for you, he misses you so much
He will be glad when he sees you, so lost time is made up for and such.
Did you know he isn’t far away, just round the corner with
Someone else.
He sends you letters of sweet nothings, and then he laughs
To himself.
