By roaring seas and tides my love, thou waved that last goodbye.
I know not what the future holds, but I in turmoil cry.
I weep for love now lost, farewell is all that’s left to say
The sands cold at my feet are smooth, the early morning dew has sprayed.
I scatter your remains respecting, your memory in my head.
By the roaring seas of time my love, thou hast waved that last goodbye.
In ye always I’d put my trust, watched your smile with pride.
Though this morn shines the sun my love, this day is not for me
I‘m blinded by these tears my love, only shadows I now see.
As your ashes I will spread my love, that’s what you asked of me.
On yonder seas and swept kissed beach, I sit now and I cry
For thou hast left me here my love, confused in dismal sigh.
I wonder how you are my love, and are you finding peace.
I kiss you here goodbye my love, I won’t forget you, and you won’t forget me.
