SOLITUDE by Luvving

Poetry By: Luvving

The fox is a very busy animal who has left the countryside as the town has more to offer.

In solitude and night-time dream; the distant owl call echoing.

To all who'd listen, night and still.

Alive and well in a tree top with eyes surveillance sharp!

As daylight peeped through darkened skies,

Lighting up the early dawn, burning eyes.

Chilled frosted grass and air despised;

Foxes make their way home to their lair,

After scavenging throughout the dark unlit night.

The country lair they once loved and knew,

No longer provides them any food.

So now to town they come and stay,

As there is plenty for them and their company.

Awakened birds of trill and tune,

Make movements as the dawn turns morn.

In town and country life's the same,

Both night and day there's something happening.
