This life on earth
Living this life on earth, joys and sorrows that it brings
You enjoy today tomorrow work no play
A combination of joy and misery.
And everyday there’s little children out playing with their friends.
The shout and they cry, sheer laughter and joy
And this is the way life will be.
Then I look at the birds in the sky, flying wild and free.
See unhappy men and women,
Live their lives in misery.
To many dear life’s a struggle, and there’s no hope in sympathy
So while there is life, let’s happy be, and live lovingly.
Sharing this life on earth, you may grow to love someone
You give to them your heart, they tear it all apart
And that’s a gamble that nobody’s won!
Now think of the little children out playing with their friends.
They stumble and fall, yet still they play on
There’s something in life for us all.
Then I look at the birds in the sky flying wild and free
See unhappy men and women, live their lives in misery
To many dear life’s a struggle and there’s no hope in sympathy.
So while there is life, let’s happy be,
And live lovingly!
