Christmas Day 7 a.m.;Bottom of the Glass

..Christmas Day, bottom of the glass, 7 a.m.
A Door slams closed!
Cupids’ arrow and futures apparent promise follows yesterdays wish.
China doll dishes; shards of corning ware;
Remnants of the “better plans of Mice and Men”,
A warm oven, and cold Turkey,
Open envelopes, past due notes on
“three wish” Carpet.
“Deck the Halls” rings low today, and me?
Indian style pose, on the floor; Christmas day, bottom of the Glass,
7 a.m.- LyraHydraComa(TheGodLiterati ©2013) H. Adam Weshnak
