Inner Bliss

The horizon looks clear
My worrisome mind suddenly blank
The crunchy grass beneath my bare feet tingle my senses
The freshest of air is what I breathe.
Buzzing sounds of dragon-flies, bees and ladybirds are all I hear
The swishing sounds and movements of leaves and branches make me mobile
The blue sky with huge golden clouds sends me to a dream world.
The gloomy feeling of yesterday quickly washes away.
I’m lost in absolute tranquillity.
There are kids and parents, friends and annoying teenagers like me having fun;
Playing and having a laugh on the most beautiful day of a few.
Their screams and laughs, cries and joy put me in a trance
For it cannot be compared.
The blinding sun pierces my soul with the clarity it brings.
The hotness it radiates is quickly cooled-off by the spring breeze.
I heave the loudest of sighs in complete relaxation.
Feelings I thought would never be felt, bathe me in their warmth;
The purest of love and beauty gladden my heart
For in spite of all of life’s complexities, I feel total bliss.
