Forever Comdemned

Poetry By: Maddie Patrick
Poetry

As next poem in my promotion, it goes along with the subject of being caught in a mindset that seems impossible to get out of. Something that controls your thoughts. That is not usually good. It's called Forever Condemned hope you enjoy it. Feel free to leave feedback and your opinion. Thanks for looking. I wanted to share with you the fact that most of my poems are not real life. Most of the time I hear a song or watch a movie that makes me sad or happy and I feel the need to write a poem about it. So don't worry some of my poems may seem dark or emotionally unstable, but they are based on something that isn't me. ENJOY!

I never saw you again

But I dream about you every night

You left me alone

All alone in this fight

You made the odds in their favor

You're gone, now they know my kryptonite

My food has lost it's flavor

My touch isn't strong

Everything is black and white

My brain is thinking all wrong

I'm going insane to get you back in my arms

My melody has no song

My life has fallen in to a million parts

Their bullets don't ricochet

They sink deeper and deeper into my heart

You left me alone to live with you in my mind

Something's lost that I'll never find

Left alone so many things to fend

You've left me forever condemned
