The winter day is cold and bright
The ground, covered in ice.
The wolves are prowling 'round today
They're hunting little mice
Upon the ground does start to fall
A layer of soft white snow.
And where the drifts run deep and wide
The children are sure to go.
As the day grows e'er so clear
The children run and laugh and play
'Til Mother's call comes near.
