“I’m not so special”

Hiding behind the curtains, peeping through

Sketching out the scenes, revolving the earth as you go

Still you’re walking around without a clue

I feel my eyes glued to you as you walk by with your golden glow

With your expressions obscured and your mind racing

You ritually begin your day with profound severity

You, mysterious being, as you are roaming the halls with eyes widely staring

Thinking, “I’m not so special; they’ll easily find a person much more pretty”

Why? If you are not special who is?

Those girls dressed in glitter or the ones that you see on TV?

Without you the world would be missing its bliss

“A tiny drop can fill the sea” is the rule you see

No matter how serious, no matter how awkward

Without you being yourself, our puzzled lives can never be pieced together

Because every move you make, makes the universe move forward

We are all intertwined, with no place for broken links to futilely adhered

Therefore dare not think that you are not special

Don’t resolve to hide behind the screen

Nothing about a person can ever be trivial, ever be common

Resilience and perseverance are the keys to boundless happiness that you can own.
