Like a bow across the strings,
He tears from her
A sound.
Like lead,
The eyelids fall.
His power has her bound.
Mesmerized by his hearts song,
A primal savage beat.
She dances to his melody,
Until her limbs go weak
So weak she cannot speak;
Of pain so exquisite.
And from his lips,
She pulls a breath
To steady her delicate heart.
An act of lovely theft
So brief,
It leaves her mind bereft.
For it is he who is the thief,
A marauder of her soul.
From her he steals,
A treasure great
Her assent he now controlls.
