Tags: Poem, Lonely, Trust

Found an old binder with some pretty old poetry. Wrote this about a decade or so ago.

The photography is mine.

I've been here before

Like a fish being lured

I go here, yes I must

But I'll never be able to trust

I walk down the street

New faces for me to meet

I stare up into the gray sky

Thinking this place will soon die

Leaving me here only

To feel cold and lonely

And still I walk along

To find I've been wrong

There's no way to win

Except to begin

Now I hear the storm

Got a jacket to keep me warm

Maybe one day I'll return

But I don't think I'll ever learn.
